Love and Guts is Skateboarding. Love and Guts is Art. Love and Guts is the creativity inside and beyond skateboarding. The art collective began in 2005 with Lance Mountain, Steve Olson, Pat Ngoho and since then have gone on to feature many artists who all share a common denominator: skateboarding. This unique show tours globally and it continues to evolve with each showing.

Oakley’s Love and Guts Art Show Comes Home to Southern California

A lot of the good ones die young, as they say. And it’s just as true in Skateboarding as it is anywhere else. Through this bitter line, Oakley’s Love and Guts – Eyes Wide Open – Art Show was born in Southern California back in 2005, paying homage to those involved with skateboarding who have lost their lives too soon. After traveling the world for a few years, Love and Guts finally found its way home. With the Maloof Cup event going down in Orange County this summer, it was only fitting to grace the region with the vibrant event while the skate world converged. With the help of Vitamin Water and Active Ride Shop, Oakley took over “The Camp” in Costa Mesa and brought Love and Guts to life yet again.
